  • Made from 95% silk, 5% rayon
  • Un-padded to allow for a close fit between baby and parent
  • Folds up compactly to fit in a diaper bag or purse
  • Triple stitched to ensure the rings are safely attached to the fabric
  • 21/2" aesthetically pleasing metal rings are very strong (can withstand 400 lbs of force) and allow for smooth sliding of the fabric
  • Versatile--can be used for six different carrying positions
  • Can accommodate newborns (7lbs/3kg) to toddlers (30lbs/14kg)
  • Open tail that can be used for discreet breastfeeding, a wipe or protection from wind and/or rain

Washing Instructions

Hand wash or dry clean for best result.  The manufacturer indicates that these slings can be machine washed on a cold-cold delicate cycle.  The shrinkage is minimal, there will also be a a wrinkling effect as the silk uses its sheen slightly.  This can be minimized by ironing.  You will find that the advantages are an easily-washed silk sling, and a fabric that is now softer and easier to adjust through the rings

**Note these are very smooth, high-sheen fabrics which will lose some of its sheen with regular wash and wear**
